My family and I camp a lot. We have a popup tent camper that has a small fridge. We mainly use that fridge for food. As for drinks and other snacks we need access to, I bring my super expensive Ice cooler. I got tired of buying a bag of ice every day at the camp store to keep the drinks cold after all the opening and closing. I saw a fellow Pop up Camper showing off his SetPower cooler on youtube. When I saw the price and what it could do, I had to buy one.
I am so glad I did. This cooler was a game changer for me. I didn't have to buy bags of ice anymore. I could keep drinks cold all the time. Here are all the things I love about it:
- The Price: Super affordable compared to the name brand overlanding coolers.
- Power options: It comes with two adapters, a regular AC adapter and 12V car adapter. I'm able to cool down and load the cooler at home. Keep things cold plugged in my car.
- Dual compartments - I love that I can turn one compartment into a freezer. I tend to store meats or deserts in there. Other times I will store ice packs in there that I'll use in my bag cooler on excursions.
- Interior lights - no more having to use your phone flashlight looking for that special drink.
- Durability - These coolers feel well made.
Everything i ordered came and works perfectly
I love it! One caveat only is that I cannot put in upright position gallon jugs of milk & 2-lt soda pop. Super cold & quick. So quiet hat I don't know for sure ta it is running, so I frequently check on it!!
I have bought 6 of the Set power friges. This one fit perfect in the back of our cherokee sport. We live @ 40mi to the closest large grocery store. These work great to get cold items home. I like them so much I just bought another today. That makes 7 total.
We have problems with delivery where we are. Non of which was because of Set Power. But, when you contact them they get back by next day with any information the can find. Great company, great product.
Had a broken latch ordered and it came in fast and fit perfect
It gets a 4 star due to the strap not clipping in. We use this refrigerator for storing a temperature control medication that needs to be between 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. We bought a thermometer to keep track of the temperature inside and it works great to keep the medication between that temperature needed. We also added some things to keep the medication away from the floor and walls and keep it kind of in the center. The only odd thing about the refrigerator is that the strap does not clip to the part that the instructions tell us to clip it to. It is impossible to clip it because the hole to clip it in is super thin and it only fits the strap not the clip. Other than that, it works great. We have travel with it to pick up the medication and stays consistent. We just make sure we do not turn the car off while transporting the medication, so it does not turn the machine off. Also, make sure that when you have it in the car the refrigerator has a lower power setting. We learned that while we were driving, it was shutting off due to the amount of power it was taking from the car. Once we lowered the bars in the refrigerator it stopped doing it.
I saw the ads showing the basket included. Setpower said it was a promotion and aren’t even available to but separately. I think they should have included it on all DT45
