Took it camp / fishing worked well with power station ran it for 8 days at 35deg. kept food and beer cool just fine . This is a lot better than having to leave camp to go get ice every couple of days . Would recommend .

Appears to be a well made unit. Setup was easy. Programming straightforward. I haven't used it yet other than to make sure it cooled on 110v power.

The unit is heavier than I thought. Carrying handles were a must. Once I fill it with provisions it's clear I won't be moving it often and will probably stay in the SUV. I almost went for the larger AJ40 but the added storage capacity would make it even more challenging to move around. Looking forward to the first camping trip.

This is exactly like your in house fridge. It's easy to use with simple controls. It's really quiet. I use it in my Tacoma. My only complaint, albeit small, is there is some slight vibration while it's running. I highly recommend it!

Work amazing for travel and cools down very quick

This makes long drives and overnight stays super simple. No more worrying about melting ice and if the mini-fridge at your hotel has room or works right. I should have gotten it sooner!

Recommended temperature for a freezer is 0 F. In Eco mode, the AJ30 struggles to reach this temperature. Usually the temperature is about 8 F (confirmed with fridge thermometer placed inside), and this is in a cool house, not a hot campsite or car. If you need real freezer capability, avoid AJ30.

This car fridge is a great size , not overly large but big enough to easily fit enough food and drinks for a day trip or a couple if you are a good packer. It uses very little power and keeps food and drinks very cold.

I like that the handles don't have to be installed. It fits in my backseat better that way. It does tend to run colder than set when plugged into the wall, vs. 12v. At 37 F, the compressor runs for about 8-10 minutes, once an hour. That's with an ambient temp of 68F. Runs more often when outdoors in the heat. But it seems very efficient.

I wish the lid was hinged on one of the long sides. Would make it easier to open in the backseat. The removable basket is useless to me. I'd rather that be an option. I'd rather have the cover come with the fridge instead. Simple operation, good value for the money.
