Setpower RF25 Electric Cooler 12V Fridge Freezers with Cover Slide

The RF25 12 volt fridge is ruggedly constructed and with the insulating cover looks ideal for camping and traveling. Like the optional ice divider/extender as well as the built in strapping hoops and carrying handles. Compressor is quiet and barely noticeable. Appears to be a quality product. Everything works like it is supposed to including the app.

Just returned from two day/nights camping trip. The RF25 performed flawlessly. I did fill the divider with water and pre freeze. Left side was packed with beer and the right with food/sodas. I set the temperature at 35 degrees. (Outside temps varied from 50 degrees to 85 degrees.) During daytime, a 100 watt solar panel kept the Jackery 300 power station charged to between 90 and 100% with light clouds while running the RF25. In the mornings, the Jackery 300 was only down to 87%. Another advantage is one can have the RF25 plugged into the vehicles charging system for the round trip.

Seriously, the perfect size for my needs. Best solution for long road trip and off-roading. I hit the trails every few weeks and there is nothing better than grabbing a cold beverage on the side of the trail. The RF20 fits perfectly in the back seat of my 23 Chevy Colorado. The apps works great and is easy to understand and use, the compressor is super quiet and as stated quick cool down in 15 minutes. I paired my fridge with the battery pack and protective cover! Exceptional combination!

Used it this past week for a trip to Port Clinton, OH from Wisconsin. It never missed a beat. The ability to freeze or frig is awesome

So right off I am holding off five stars because of the unknowingly longevity of this. I feel if I can get a year out of this, I will be highly impressed.

Ordering was easy enough I believe I use PayPal. I received a tracking number rather quickly. Once the cooler was received, I was impressed with the packaging. The unit was up and running within a half hour of having it unpacked. Of course I did a test run to its lowest setting of -4f. It managed to get to this temperature in 35 minutes from and ambient temperature of 70f. I used a hardware based thermometer to test the interior temperature and it matched what we had set. The 20 L size is definitely on the small side but is performing well at a set temperature of 39°F.

Excellent app, very quite and keeps everything at the set temperature.

I was amazed that I plugged it in and it went from 60° to 28° in 15 minutes. I plugged in the extra battery pack PG216Wh Battery . Both the cooler and the battery are must have items. Never need ice again, even if you take the cooler to a ball game. Very quiet and very smooth and great construction. Highly recommended.

My thoughts on the Setpower TC75
I bought one on sale and I have it aboard my sailboat.
As a solo sailor I find that I can store 2+ weeks of meat, egg's, fruit, drinks, etc.
I can fill it, go offshore and use about a watt of power an hour-ish
It's been running using 1) 50watt solar panel and 1) 100wh 12v AGM battery, that also runs my windlass, for about a month.

Before buying food, I did "pregame" it by plugging it in to dock power, 120A/C.

After getting the freezer down to '0' and the fridge down to 35, it took 1 hr., then I stocked it with already frozen meat (on the smaller inside end) before switching to D/C. I use the big end / side for everything else.

Also, I was concerned that the heeling of the boat, at times 20-30 deg'., would cause problems, it has not, 'yet'
It's also very quiet, I can't hear it running and I don't notice heat coming from the fan / vents.
Bottom line, if you have the room, (It's really big), get the TC75

I have this in my van and I'm going to tell you I've had a Della I've had other Chinese made refrigerators this one is a beast!!

I purchased this one because it had, at the time, said "best for cars" and I dumbly trusted it without measuring haha (for a Subaru Outback). It looks beautiful, great textures, the cup "holders" are like 1/4" deep though and it's definitely on the heavier side of mobile coolers. Box was huge when it came, and there was this weird dust inside the cooler wall, but it was nicely and safely packaged. All attachments accounted for. I will be getting a different size and my friend will be receiving this one instead.

I had an old mobicool before and was really disappointed with the performance. I decided to buy this model and I don't regret it at all. I even made Mr. Freezes in this cooler. In addition, it consumes 5 times less energy over 24 hours than my mobicool. I strongly recommend it to you. Works nearly 8 hours with a small booster pack. Very incredible!

I already have two units from this company; this is the smallest one.
This one is smaller and fits perfectly in the trunk of my Tesla Model Y. The only thing this particular unit is missing is an internal light, which would be very helpful on dark nights while camping.

This is my second SetPower 12v fridge and so far so good but the big test comes shortly with a four day overland trip through the Nevada desert.

I bought the Anker C1000 Gen 2 power bank to power both a fridge and fans in my car because I'm home and live in it. At first I bought the FC20 and it was working fine but was too small. I paid $50 to return the FC20 and the extra money to get the RF25 instead. Just got it today and it will not run on my Anker C1000 Gen 2. I constantly get the "E1". And yes, I set the battery protection to Low. I don't understand why the FC20 would work but the RF25 won't. I'm livid right now that I poured that kind of money into a power bank and fridge but they don't work. And NO, I don't want to use the fridge using and AC outlet on the power bank because it uses too much power. That defeats the purpose of the 12V outlet.

Bought this rf20 over a year ago and set it up on solar power (2) renogy 100ah mini core batteries and (1) 175 watt renogy solar panel. It has been set on 34 degrees and never missed a beat. I normally don’t leave reviews but this unit is worth every dollar. SetPower #1

So far so good! I’ve only had one opportunity to use it and it did what I hoped it would. I live three or more hours from the nearest Walmart, Sam’s Club or Costco so now I can purchase frozen items I couldn’t before.
