Currently using the AC adapter running from the outlet at home. It’s keeping my beer cold. Later this spring it’s going into the van and will run off a power station. We’ll see how it performs on the road after that.

My small travel trailer came with a 3 way Dometic fridge/freezer. Freezer compartment wouldn't really get cold enough, propane is a pain, using it on dc drained my batteries. Got rid of it when the circuit board needed replacement and got the 58 qt SetPower. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner. My 400watt/300ah solar set up easily handles the small power draw. I love having a real freezer. For long trips, I pre make meals to freeze and use the larger compartment as a freezer, with the smaller compartment for condiments and salad veggies. Since it is top loading, I worked out organizing by using various sized dollar store baskets. While it takes up some floor space (I have it on a raised platform with storage underneath) I gained a ton of storage when I took the original fridge out. The unit is very quiet. I was so happy with it that I bought a small, one compartment, Setpower for trips to the store or tent camping with a 100AH power pack that I built. My only problem was that the lights for power and temperature are BRIGHT. I put some Dim-It strips over them to tone them down.

I bought the Setpower 58qt PT55 for my camper tailer build and it’s perfect. It cools down to zero fast and maintains temp very well. Efficient power use also.
I've been dreaming and planning for years, the day I could finally get a setpower fridge for my truck. I still can't believe I own one even though it sits in front of me beautiful in its thermal case. Works perfect..a little too perfect! Still dialing into the temps that work best. Accidentally froze a couple things in the fridge section haha but this unit is a beast with the deep freezing. It's so slick too with so much room inside, I couldn't even find enough stuff to put in it! It's actually way bigger than i imagined on the inside compared to how much space it takes up.
The sound it makes is quiet like a small fish tank bubbling which makes a great white noise kinda sound for sleeping.
It's solid, well made and light for being a fridge. I have a spine problem, but even I can lift this unit empty with no issue. Best to use two people to lift though.
I love how secure the lids latch and open and work well with the thermal case on. It's obvious when the lid is properly closed with a "snap" of the latch, sealing the cold inside.

Great cooler great cooling… just great.. about a week in temps on freezer side set to 0 gets up to 9 occasionally then drops back down.. only complaint is this thang is huge lol maybe get one size smaller, I’m in a semi planned on setting it in passenger chair but it stuck out alittle too far, placed in sleeper taking up half the moving space for now
