Works great. Just got my second one in 5 years as a truck driver. 130k miles a year, it's done very well, considering the abuse ive given it. First one lasted 4.5 years. with even being overheated 2 years ago with blankets covering are vents. Awesome cooler and industrial as they get. Just make these in Wisconsin, or Alabama, wherever. just make them here. they're great.
Haven't really used it yet, but I did make sure all of it works , and works perfectly as of right now. Soon I will be going on a 3 day camping/ fishing trip , I will know for sure,then .
Working great
Been road tripping the last 7 days with my new cooler. Extremely quiet and maintaining the temperature very well. I’ve never owned one of the more expensive brands….and I’m not sure what the extra expense would provide that this one doesn’t.
Update review on set power power cord contacted customer service and they were able to send a replacement cord which seem to fix the issue thank you very much.
I have used this for one weekend trip so far and it preformed perfectly.
We have been using this frig for over a year non-stop. For the most part off of DC power, sometimes on AC power. Never had an issue and is running as the first day we turned it on. I don't see why to pay more for a DC Frig-Freezer.
Recently purchased a the Setpower RV45S, however, we purchased this while we are on a 3 month road trip in our motorhome. The RV45S will be for our overlanding rig once we get back from our trip. Loved the reviews and the price point of this unit, but have yet to actually use it in real life.
so I've had this cooler and two batteries for about a month now but have only used it in my apartment until today. took it out on the water on the hottest day of the year so far on an older sport fisher whose air conditioning went out. for whatever reason couldn't plug it in on board think something was up with the generator / invertor which whatever the reason it gave me the chance to put the batteries to the test. so put it in my car ran it off the 12V cigarette lighter for the hour drive to the marina (no idea it was plugged in held its temp perfectly for the drive) hopped on the boat put it inside the cockpit which was like the inside of a convection oven plugged it into one of the two fully charged batteries i brought while also charging cell phones all day long. it ran under those conditions for seven hours. never had to change batteries. in fact, when we brought it back to the car and unplugged the battery that battery had 57% left on it. and the cooler held it temp all day. this thing is a steal. a bargain. never hear the compressor. only way I know its working is opening it up and grabbing ice cold stuff out of it lol. like its legitimately silent. I haven't tested the accuracy of the indicated temp as opposed to the true temp but see no reason to do so everything it held has remained just above freezing. I have no clue why anyone would by a dometic or arb that's two to three times the money of this unit. best purchase I've made in a long time. was concerned it would have issues running off the 12V in my car. note the word was. no longer am. can't wait to drive cross country with this beast. Oh and like my first review said I was going to do (have an inverter installed) see no reason to do that now
